The influence of adhesives on colour development and waterproof quality of thermal sensitive paper

  The influence of adhesives in heat sensitive coating on the static colour development,dynamic colour development and water proof quality are probe.The experiment result shows that favorable colour development performance can be achieved for the adhesive with polyvinyl alcohol as major component and the waterproof quality can be improved when the carboxyl tetraphene latices was mixed into the adhesive in a certain proportion. Under the experiment condition, in the fluorane colourless dyestuff/bisphenol A/stearic acid amid colour developing system,the suitable adhesive proportion is PVA:carboxylated styrene-butadiene latex=70:30,and the saturation colour development optical density value of thermal sensitive paper can reach 1.10 or upwards,the image retention ratio of the colour development region after the water resistance test can reach 80% and upwards.
