Adhesive on Color Properties and Waterproof Properties of Thermal Paper

This paper discusses the effect of adhesive on the static color, dynamic color and waterproof performance of heat-sensitive coatings. The experimental results show that the adhesive with polyvinyl alcohol as the main component can obtain good color development performance, and when the carboxyl tetraphenyl ester latex is mixed in a certain proportion in the adhesive, the waterproof performance will be improved. In halothane leuco dye/bisphenolA/stearic acid as the intermediate color system, the appropriate binder ratio isPVA:carboxylated styrene-butadiene latex= 70:30, the color saturation optical density value of thermal paper can reach1.10, the image retention rate of the color development area after the waterproof test can reach80%above
