Fillers suitable for thermal paper coating slurry:Calcium carbonate
Calcium carbonate has now become an independent category in various fields. It comes in many varieties with complex crystal forms, and its abundant sources, wide range of applications, and low price have led to continuous development. It can be broadly classified into two types: natural and precipitated (light). Natural calcium carbonate has a tightly packed crystal structure and hard particles.

Filler suitable for thermal paper--Titanium dioxide, zinc dioxide, and calcined white dioxide
These pigments are also widely used in coated paper due to their whiteness, hiding power (opaqueness), and good chemical stability. Their general whiteness, combined with their smooth texture, is used to enhance the gloss of coated paper. When selecting them as heat-sensitive fillers, in addition to their original contributions to paper whiteness, hiding power, and smoothness, they should also provide good color density and good compatibility with brush tips.

Properties Required for Fillers Used in Thermal Paper
Fillers in thermal paper must not only possess the properties typical of pigments used in coated paper but also meet specific requirements.
As pigments for general coated paper, they should have the following characteristics:
(1) Good whiteness and a certain degree of opacity (hiding power).
(2) An appropriate particle size distribution range.
(3) Easy dispersibility in water.
(4) Good chemical stability.
(5) Good compatibility with other components in the coating.넶6 2026-04-01
